Single Again (Explicit)
Label: EMI America Records
Whether she's "Killing You Hoes" or demanding you "Look Back at Me" while she does things we can't even begin to mention, there's something very Lil' Kim circa 1996 about Trina's raunch-rap shtick. Even her album title seems to acknowledge the moment may have passed, but Trina's home state of Florida is having its day in the sun. So da baddest bitch gets another crack at being a "Hot Commodity," this time pairing her risque rhymes with sensitive breakup jams (no doubt inspired by her on-again, off-again affair with Lil Wayne). "Single Again" bridges the two attitudes most successfully.
