Toby Keith's affable 16th album mixes fun songs about drinking ("Cold Beer Country") with sad songs about drinking (the exquisitely forlorn title track), and songs that are thankfully exactly what you're expecting (the jaunty "I Like Girls That Drink Beer") with songs that are mercifully better ("Scat Cat," thank God). Re: the ladies, "The Size I Wear" is helpfully exact ("Five-foot-two, 'bout 95 pounds"); "Get Got" is a fount of front-porch wisdom ("Don't mix your whiskey with decisions"). The deluxe edition dance remix of "Red Solo Cup" is a cautionary tale in this regard.
