Recording without guitarist/vocalist Tanya Donnelly (who split for Belly),the trio pulls it together on their fifth effort, with "Bright Yellow Gun" and "Shimmer" asserting the independent drive and quirky talents of co-founder Kristin Hersh. (Just ignore the self-indulgent baby babble on the title track.)
