With an album full of ringing, guitar-pop gems, Vauxhall and I is the Morrissey album that most-closely resembles his former outfit, the Smiths. One of his personal best, Vauxhall and I should be in the collections of anyone who ever said they were a Smiths fan, a Morrissey fan, or is simply a fan of winsome (or "whine some" as the case may be) jangle pop.
