If This Bus Could Talk

You can take the singer off the road, but you can't keep him out of the sandbox. Chesney's 15th album is filled with the kind of laid-back, fun-in-the-sun tunes that have become synonymous with the Tennessee native. Just take single "American Kids," an acoustic-based, anthemic sing-along in which he waxes nostalgic about better times. Meanwhile, Grace Potter's airy vocals add the perfect touch to "Wild Child," a surprisingly delicate ode to a free spirit. Other highlights include heartland rocker "Rock Bottom," party anthem "Til It's Gone" and the earthy, optimistic "Save It For a Rainy Day."
