"You don't have to love me/ You don't even have to like me," Kelis quips in the intro of her hit "Bossy," but pop fans can't help themselves. Kelis' third album (fourth if you count the UK-only Wanderlust) is every bit as quirky, aggressive and seductive as her previous work. "Lil Star" sounds like a church hymnal performed by Loony Tunes characters. Elsewhere, "Blindfold Me" and "Bossy" are soaked in sex, sass and bouncy club beats. It's doubtful that this will win many converts, but it's her best work since her debut.
