The Grass Roots had a convoluted history that is well served by this compilation that covers their early period when P.F. Sloan and Steve Barri were behind the scenes as well as their later incarnation without them, when they were a Motown-inspired rock group. A varied mix, but "Let's Live For Today" and "Temptation Eyes" sound good regardless.
