When Fergie rhymes "delicious" with "promiscuous" and wonders "Would you love me if I didn't work out," you could be forgiven for thinking she has taken the post-modern step of self-parody on her debut LP. Such musings aside, Will.I.Am's cleverly scrubby production keeps things aurally interesting and the fact that The Dutchess is packed with more hooks than a long-line fishing fleet points to assured success. Just one criticism, however: Fergie, "London Bridge" doesn't go up or even "down" -- you're thinking of Tower Bridge.
