Popular Demand (Popeyes) (featuring Camron and Pharrell)
Clipse step out from behind the coke raps and skeletal future-funk template of their first two albums and provide a fuller, more accessible record. "Showing Out," with its flickering back-masked production and perfectly pitched nihilism, along with the swaggering "Popular Demand," are standouts. The production throughout is stellar, proving that Clipse have some of the best ears for beats in the business. While Til the Casket Drops lacks the startling singularity and pure visceral rush of their first two albums, it's still a solid addition to their catalog.
