Pharrell sets it off for the first verse, bragging about hob-knobbing with Diddy in Aspen, dropping references to Liberace and flossing about his BapeSta sneakers -- but his Japanophile/ jet set shtick is a red hearing. Soon, Clipse emcees Pusha and Malice show up to deliver their trademark tales of dead ends populated by the glossy grime of cocaine dealers. Stylistically they lack the flexibility of a Jigga or a Cam, but if authenticity could be canned, the Clipse could stock a supermarket.
