Though they never quite got the mainstream recognition they deserved, New Jersey duo the Artifacts (El Da Sensei and Tame One) put out some very dope records in the mid-1990s. On this stellar debut, they mix thumping, loop-driven production with clever rhymes about graffiti and wack emcee smashing. "Wrong Side of Da Tracks" and "C'mon Wit Da Git Down" are both classics.
